Thanks Paul! Yes, that was what I suggested to the customer. First replace the entire branch circuit, or install GFCI protection.

Did the cable manufacture, assume the asbestos cloth would clear a ground fault...LOL

Hey Everyone, I recently did a service and panelboard upgrade and noticed a few of the branch circuits did not have a equipment grounding conductor. The wire without an equipment ground was an older cloth NM cable. I've never come across this before, however I gave the customer a few recommendations...
