Hey Paul,
Can you help me understand where I went wrong on this question. As I answered it I thought "this is an easy one" haha. I gave you an answer of "9 and 8". You gave me an answer of 4.5. We both have the same code references listed so I think I may be misunderstanding some of the wording or the math...who knows.
WELL! While I was typing this out. You answered my question on the chat haha. And I still don't get it.
A 2 gang box with 2 switches, do you not add the totals together for box fill? There are 2 blanks on the question, leading me to believe you are wanting 2 answers.
Thank you

Question 25 unit 3 review

Remember each switch is a Double Volume Allowance...so it is even simpler..its just 2.0 in³ x 2 and 2.25 in³ x 2....the (2) is the Double Volume Allowance.

The ONLY part of the entire question was the last sentence. Since it stated (2) conductors to each switch you are simply being asked the following:
The required volume allowance for the switch rate 20 amps is ___ in.3 and the required volume allowance for the switch rate 15 amps is ___ in.3.
Its asking you about the switch right.
The required volume allowance for the switch rate 20 amps is ___ in.3 and the required volume allowance for the switch rate 15 amps is ___ in.3.
Its asking you about the switch right.
